Gamla's European subsidiary, Gamla Millennium (Europe) Ltd., holds 60% in the Gamla subsidiary Gamla-Harel Eastern Europe Ltd., together with the Harel Insurance company (40%). Gamla-Harel Eastern Europe Ltd., via the G.H. Eastern Europe Limited subsidiary registered in Cyprus, is investing in real estate development projects with a focus on Romania, and intends to expand its activity to other countries,with focus on ihghyeild projectd in the region.

Gamla Millennium Investments and Harel Insurance Group have established a joint company for real estate investments in Eastern Europe. The new company, “Gamla Harel Eastern Europe,” deals with acquiring real estate and constructing and selling residential, office and commercial space in Europe. The company operates through its Cypriot subsidiary, Gamla-Harel Eastern Europe Ltd. The company has targeted Romania primary countries for its operations.
The insurance company, Harel's financial capability and knowledge combined with Gamla Millennium’s professional knowledge and experience have made the joint company a significant factor from aspects of operational volume and the presence in the target countries and will contribute to realizing sizable earnings and surplus returns on the investment.
Gamla and Harel have established representative and operations offices in Romania staffed by appropriate managers and professional functionaries.
